Terms and Conditions

By booking a place on a course or workshop you are agreeing to our terms and conditions – please make sure you have read and understood the terms and conditions before making your booking

Health and Safety

  • If you are new to exercise or if you have any medical conditions that may affect your ability to exercise safely you must consult your doctor before you sign up and you must inform your teacher 
  • If you develop any medical conditions, injuries or become pregnant during the course you must inform your teacher who can advise you on how to dance safely. However, she is not medically qualified and if you have any health concerns you should consult your doctor


Course Bookings and Cancellations

  • Places cannot be guaranteed until payment has been received
  • When booking a half course, this entitles you to attend the first 5 classes of the term only, it is not possible to transfer missed classes to the second half of term
  • When booking a place on a half course the balance of your fees is due in full by week six of the course, failure to pay the balance on time may result in the loss of your place
  • Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer, or online via paypal – bookings via PayPal will incur a charge of £3 for full courses and £1.50 for half courses
  • Missed classes will not be refunded and cannot be transferred
  • If you need to cancel your booking and do so up to 2 weeks before the start of term you will receive a full refund
  • If you cancel your place within two weeks of the start of term you will receive a 50% refund, no refunds will be given for cancellations made after this point
  • In the event that your teacher has to cancel a class, you will be offered a full refund for the missed class or the option of attending a rescheduled class at a later date

Class/Workshop Conduct

  • Students should be respectful of the instructor and other members of the class at all times, and must not behave in a way that causes  discomfort, or disruption to others enjoyment of the class or workshop.
  • Strong scents can cause others in the class to feel unwell, therefore students must ensure that they maintain their personal hygiene, wear fresh clothing and  avoid using strong perfumes before coming to classes or workshops
  • Students should ensure that they are wearing the appropriate attire when taking part in classes and workshops – exercise clothing such as leggings, jogging bottoms, and a vest, t-shirt is recommended. Clothing such as jeans and short skirts should not be worn, if you are unsure please ask your teacher
  • Videos and photographs must not be taken unless prior permission has been granted by the subject.

Level Progression

  • If you wish to progress to the next level class you must speak to your teacher before booking your place on the course
  • New students wishing to join courses above beginner level will be required to undergo a technique assessment

Workshop bookings and Hafla Tickets

  • Workshop places cannot be guaranteed until payment has been received
  • Workshop bookings are not refundable unless cancelled by the host
  • Hafla tickets are not refundable unless cancelled by the host
