Whether you’re preparing for a performance or you just want some expert guidance to help you nail that technique you’ve been struggling with, a private lesson could be just the thing!

To ensure that you get the most out of your session, Louise will contact you for a chat about your needs so she can tailor a lesson plan to your requirements, from hagallas to shimmies, veil technique to developing your improvisation skills, it can be done!

Louise offers one to one sessions and can also cater for small groups of dancers who want to benefit from more individual attention but want to keep costs down.

Lessons can take place in person at a studio of your choosing, or online via Zoom and discounts are available for bookings of 4 or more sessions when paid up front.

Q. How much to private lessons cost?

A. Private lessons start at £40 per hour not including the cost of hiring a studio which can be anywhere from £25 to £35 per hour currently. Payment for private lessons plus fees for studio hire, is required up front to secure your booking.

Q. How many sessions will I need to achieve my goals?

A. This question is impossible to answer as every dancer is different. After your first session, Louise will talk with you about your goals and how they might be achieved.

Q. I’m a complete beginner, can you teach me?

A. This is not out of the question, but Louise recommends that newer dancers spend a minimum of 3 months learning belly dance in a regular group class before seeking private tuition. This way, you can build up your technique and movement repertoire first which will help you to get the most out of a private session.

Q. What happens if I need to cancel my class?

A. Payments are non-refundable but, if you cant make your class, this can be rescheduled to a later date a maximum of 2 times. Cancellations must be made a minimum of 3 hours before your session is due to start. Please note that transfer of studio bookings is not guaranteed
